Does anyone know who he sold the business to? I haven't heard of any names. I know that some of his rat lures were top notch and I only have a couple of little jars of it and wanted to get some more, but I didn't know if the guy he sold to would make them again or not. Or if any of you guys know where a guy can get some, like a random hole in the wall place or something. Or maybe if any of you guys know of a lure similar to his highwater, hurricane, and laughing lady lures, let me know also. I'm just looking for some alternatives to my normal rat lures. Thanks in advance!

Not sure about anyone making them anymore but Hoosier Trappers Supply shows they have highwater and some of his other lures in stock.

I've never used his lures but I hate to see all these lure makers who have been in business a long time retiring or changing hands or going out of business. Seems to be happening more and more lately.

It's very sad to see it happen in front of your eyes. It just makes a guy wish he had all this kind of money to buy them out so a guy could still make them.

They've been on clearance since last spring and I was going to buy a bunch of the rat lure but I got on it too slow and it was gone by the time I did. The rat lures probably sold out in 2-3 weeks.

Lenon's muskrat super all-call lure is excellent if you need an alternative.

Yep, I used up about 3 ounces of that before I busted the jar all over the driveway one day, and lost another 4 ounce jar when I left it on the bumper another day. But for the time that I did use it, it worked really good, only bad part was the glass jar.

Mark had Dakotaline and his lure business split in two and they both got sold to different people sadly.

I'll give a shoutout to the bossman dobbin's muskrat #1 lure. I bought a bottle from him at the lima convention a few years ago and i'd never used any lure for rats before. But they couldn't swim by it without getting tangled.

Carmen's Hudson Seal is a great rat lure. Night Owl's Ditch Digger is too.
