Like my guns I have a hard time having any I don't use. No point in having them if they are not used and enjoyed to me. My only worry would be loosing it.

It's a very nice knife and like stated above very thoughtful gift. Keep the blade clean and lubed lightly to avoid rust like any other carbon steel blade and it sharpen like anything else I would think.

that's an interesting sheath too, I'm guessing more of a horizontal carry, I may have to "borrow" that design... grin

keep that one razor sharp for dressing field dressing and breaking down game

something like a buck 110 slim or a mora for every day and with a bright colored handle , if you drop it it makes it a lot easier to see and pick up.
the buck 110 slim in orange is my daily carry

I had a good boss like that when I was a kid , I worked there all through highschool , he said he would take me back any time I needed work , summers , weekends ,but that I needed to go to school for something and do more.

I haven't worked for him in 26 years but we keep in touch

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

fantastic looking knife, and GREAT employer!

if it were mine, I wouldn't use it for everyday things like opening boxes; but I would use it for skinning game, etc.

but, enjoy it...however you choose!

I'm usually good at keeping track of stuff so that's not a worry for me. But yeah I bet I'll use it quite a bit.

it's supposed to sit on your back and it's kind of angled up to keep it in there. It's an interesting design for sure.

I've been looking at the normal sized buck 110 since that's what my dad carries and they aren't too badly priced either. I'm going to be working for him as long as he needs me. He's one of our family friends so it's really nice working for him.

I would carry and use it everyday something like that needs to be used. And when you hand it down to one of your children or Grand children it will mean more to them as they seen you using it.
