AGAIN ...So he actually wished me happy bday a day early...thinking it was my bday)

I was NOT impressed...

Cause he thought it WAS my birthday...(side note..he forgets it about every year cause he has tunnel vision when he's trapping.)

We've had this discussion 18 of the 20 years we've been together

This year he was gone till Christmas eve..and he didn't catch one bit of heck from me..he was spoked to be gone till christms night but the weather turned so he came home a day early

FWIW, I've been a day off, either side, of our anniversary since the 80s, lol.
Worse, cause we had a kid born, one day one side or the other, of our anniversary.
I get that wrong too.

Heck I sometimes forget MY birthday, not a big deal as it's just another day in paradise....At least Jerry got close, lol

I never know what day, week,month, and some times even year it is. Often I don't honestly know if I'm on day shift or nights when I'm at work and have to look outside to see. In the winter that does not always work when it gets dark earlier. I guess it comes with rotating shifts, 16hr days ect. Heck I'm on my 7th 16 in a roll now, I have switches from days to night in that time and from comming in early to out late. I guess it's why I don't sleep, eat, or anything correctly.

So he does not punch a clock wright the date often or know the difference between mon or Sunday so I say he gets a pass on the date. You were on his mind and that's what's important and good to know.

He can remember what day year and minute he caught a double on otter in a conni but.......my birthday? Who cares..lmao

Does he remember when he caught you? Do you remember that. If he doesn't remember but you do that must be because you did the catching then correct?

We.both remember that day........for.different reasons.lol

I have forgotten my birthday a few times. I had to have my kids bdays printed on the inside of my silicone wedding ring because I couldnt remember them. I finally figured out a trick to remember what day my wife’s bday was-doesnt mean ill remember it that day…. Ive said for years a birthday is nothing special. The absolute worst person in the world has one. Just means you arent dead.
