Very cool. My Dad raced Boatel "Ski Bird" snowmobiles in the late 60's and even competed in the Nationals in Rhinelander in 68 I believe. There were lots of "no name" makers in that era.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Cool looking design but I bet it's hard on the back!

Wife’s family had a raider, pretty neat really, junked it in the mid 90’s due to lack of parts as the tracks were shot.

Last week we were having a conversation with one of our atv classic collector pals, and we got on the conversation of the unique one off flame design decals on the tank of 1973 ATC70s. "What was happening that year or who was leading the art dept or design team that something this odd / different happened" we wondered aloud. Well, it got us to thinking a bit more about what other off brand things Honda was doing that year, when this one off winter wonder came to mind - the 1973 WHITEFOX. After being sold on the market for only a month, factory Honda recalled this little 178cc snow machine without explanation. Currently to date, only around 5 units are known to have been documented in private collections. Cool! AND WEIRD!!
