and my first thought was I wonder if it will freeze up , answer apparently it does freeze because on a tip-up the spool is underwater so it doesn't freeze
if you watch the video nothing like putting a 7 dollar yo-yo on a 100 dollar tripod
there are less expensive versions of the beaver dam tip up. for 10-15 dollars similar mechanism
I saw an add for a about a dozen beaver dams on market place yesterday for 15 each
also you only need 3 and that is if you are not jigging then you only need 2 , because in WI 3 lines is your limit unless you bring the wife and kids then 3 lines each.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
DUMB.i could elaborate but i dont think i have too
Elaborate, please. I'm dumb.
#1 it freezes up.#2your gonna miss fish cause it freezes up.#3your gonna lose fish cause you're fiddleing with it cause its froze up.#4 ifin you were sitting there with a rod in your hand you would catch ALOT more fish.its just really not practical, just another gimmick.underwater tipups if your not tending your line.so you are thinking what if its nice out, it wont freeze,if its that nice out you should be sitting on a bucket enjoying the day,and you can have another line set up with a bobber near by.in minn.we only get 2 lines each
U GOTTA DO WHAT U GOTTA DO CAUSE IT IS WHAT IT IS....AINT NOTHIN WRONG WITH QUIET
