I was sitting in my treestand a few weeks ago. It is always a good place to think about things. It occurred to me. I'm 56 yo. in my time I have known 1 person to die from a firearm. That was my cousin that was murdered delivering a pizza back in the early 90's. In that same time period, I have thought about how many people I have known who have died from a drug overdose. I lost track after around 20. Now, I don't hang out in the hood or anything. I was born, raised and still live in the country. These have just been friends, family and acquaintances. The national ratio is even worse than mine if you compare gun deaths to OD's. Where is the outrage? Where are all the scumbag politicians standing on the soap boxes every time a kid dies from an OD? It's a rhetorical question. Sadly, we all know the answer.

I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

Oh they are screaming all right ! But at the wrong people. They fine and sanctioned drug companies for pain pills. Make it so you have to pee in a cup if you get more than 3 prescriptions a year . Look it up Pain meds are super low causes of overdose. It’s fentanyl that is coming in from China via the open border. Heroin is number 2. Also coming in across border. If the Dems admitted that was the culprit then they would have to admit the border is the problem.

Neither have been an issue I'm concerned with. But I suppose I that come with an understanding of freedom and personal responsibility.

If anyone wants to be intoxicated cool have at it everyone knows the risk. When they od well that's on them I'm not going to cry about it.

When the shooting and murder rate us sky high in the cities ran by democrats and its people living the thug life it seems like a self solving solution not a problem. When the bystander get shot well still little sympathy most of those people won't help the cops with the crim problem they don't know nothing didn't see nothing and cops can't do their job without info and community involvement. So they must enjoy the crime drugs and danger in the area they live.

I got the perfect solution to lowering OD. Stop bringing them back so many times!! Start a registry. After 3 times of narcan. Let them pass. Natural selection. There are documentation that some junkies od and are revived up to 5 times a week!!! OD stats are not just deaths. Yes if it says OD deaths of course it is

They fudge the numbers so much the statistics are misleading the way they report them. The goal is to create a false narrative to fit their agendas it’s like anything else they do today facts don’t matter agendas are more important and people are suckers. All done for the good of mankind they will tell you as they destroy it all. Self enrichment is the only goal only votes, money and power matter.

Rewording is the new weapon peaceful protest, asylum seekers, deplorable, White Nationalists, racist, fascist, white privileged, insurrection and many other words meant to minimize people to change the narrative. The only thing that really changes is the narrative.

An illegal gets to stay after claiming to be an asylum seeker to manipulate the rule of law to fit the narrative is a good example. Now to fit that agenda they are coached to circumvent the law by the people that want them here against the will of the people.

We turn more communist everyday it seems 20 years ago if you heard some crazy news it was just that but today that’s some morons real goal in DC.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

None of the politicians really care about people, just look at all the babies that have been aborted. To kill a fetus is a woman right .... really.

I use a library 'Puter, and the other day I was in here and noticed signs up for free Narcan, so I got a box of 2 doses. Will really trash some junkies day if I have to give it to them! LOL

If you think thats bad you should see all the people who die from heart disease from eating too much grease,or Cancer
I know of none to die from being shot,I know a few who have died from drug overdose, but I know dozens who have died from heart disease and cancer.
Quite a few over the years that died from accidents as well.
The drug overdoses are on the rise faster than anything else.

Not referring solely to Opioids because people OD on many other drugs besides Opioids.

But the politicians will never be outraged about OD deaths.
Most are making a fortune from the pharmacuitales.
Politicians aren't going to jeopardize their fortune over OD deaths. Especially when most of them never make the evening news.
They show us every day that they don't care about We the People
Unless it pertains to minority or LGBTQRSTUVWXYX

I know a great many people and don't know anyone who died from a gunshot, except for a kid from my neighborhood and my friend Ralph, who both took their own lives. The kid had an abusive father. Ralph found out he had terminal cancer. I don't know anyone who died of a drug overdose. I hope I never do.

I know a fair number of people who were shot or injured by IEDs, in war, but none died.

From the government numbers, hard drugs are are a big problem. Firearms are exceedingly rarely a problem unless you're a criminal or suicidal.

Keith
