A lot of the money part with kids is “ I made my own” money more than the love of money. The kids in my 4H classes are more in the I want to trap it and sell it but few are interested in the put up work of it. With our tail bounty I encourage them to sell the tails and buy a used freezer then to not waste the resources waiting for a buyer to show up.

Granddaughter enjoyed it all but grandson don't want anything to do with a growling and hissing bobcat. Heck he don't even want to get near them after a cat takes a dirt nap. Lol.

I have no regrets about the money I spent compared to the minuscule catches I’ve made. I continue to buy traps and chain, lure, wax, fur handling gear, and buy memberships and sustaining donations. Even the part time trapper can still talk and shoot the breeze with the best of them. I feel honored to be a part of T man and talk about anything and everything . Here’s to a great 2024
