dakidsmn OP trapper Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 263 mn	Had an epic first check. We set 7 330's on bank dens and 2 in very shallow channels between a couple of banks dens Saturday. Couldn't get close to the 2 lodges due to thin ice. We checked on Monday. We had 5 beaver. 71 pound female 68 pound female 64 pound male 49 pound male 48 pound female Grand total is 300 pounds!!!!!

I did a beaver demo for a group of home schooled kids and he asked 20 plus questions and my favorite was if he could come trapping with me. His mom said absolutely and he comes with whenever he can. His family has adopted me as their grandfather.
