This is the result. Far from perfect, but it will work for me![Linked Image]
This area is about 40’ x 60’

Looking good, when I was talking about the moldboard it looks like the tailing edge of the shear has a gap and it should be square so it’s a seamless transition those wear there if someone let the shear get worn to far, this is all on the assumption that they’re the right shear, it’s very possible that the shear is meant for a different bottom and the bolts lined up so that’s why they got used.

Some parts are worn, and now I see where you were talking about. Looking at it, one could assume that the entire bottom of the moldboard could be missing that much material.
As it is, I think it will work for me, until I can get some new parts. The landsides are work kind of thin on the bottom edge,
It took me a few passes to get my speed about right. I can’t twist to look behind me, due to my back surgery. I probably shouldn’t even be on a tractor, but I can’t sit still any longer!

Yeah if you’re just doing the garden there it’ll last a lifetime, also now you have the bottoms shined up coat them with some sticky grease so they don’t rust, because a smooth slick bottom will turn the soil easier, the nice part about the plow is once you get it set you shouldn’t look behind you so you keep it in the furrow better.
