Has anyone had a chance to see or test the new Bunny Boots being made by the Alaska Gear Co ?

I saw that article, encouraging, except for the price of $300. But probably worth it.

I haven't seen the boots but read the article.
Looks like the heel is wider and they mentioned no valve, this is good.
I currently have 6 pair of surplus bunny boots so don't plan to pay the $300 or more for the latest edition.

I will see a pair in a few days. I know somebody testing them. What do you want to know specifically?

The soles are they smooth or a little bit like vibram soles. I always had a problem slipping on tussocks!

I'll write these down before I see him/them.

Snap ... the sole is a Vibram style from the pics I seen.

Dirt ... from the pics it looks like there is no gusset on the boot. Like a solid tube top.
Just wondering how they feel wearing them.

How do the black "Mickey Mouse" boots compare to the white bunny boots?

Black bunny boots not as good as the white ones IMO owned both.

Snorted hot tea out my nose. Although when hungry out on the line, beaver starts to smell good.

I learned from Rick Swenson to take my bunny boots to a tire shop and have studs installed. Helps with traction on ice. On the down side, if wife catches you on the kitchen linoleum, you may be killed on the spot...

I watched part of the video and is Alaska Gear Company in Alaska. That's quite a facility. I haven't been in Anchorage or the Valley in years so just wondering.

The guy I know won't do much for marketing. I'm sure he is just trying to scam a free set of boots.

Their production facility is in Palmer by the Fairgrounds. Pretty big place they built a few years ago.

I just took a look at them and some are legit and should put the boots threw their paces. Heck Kurt Lockwood is even one of them and he is a fellow trapper from the interior.

Yeah, there’s a handful of people who may put some miles on boots before spring. And I understand they want to sell product. I’m old so couldn’t care less what is on all the social media sites as I don’t have any. I’ll try and keep my grumpy old man thoughts to myself as the world passes me by
