Nice work. I love seeing the work of talented people.

Seems like the workspace may paint yourself into a corner?

Unless you have OCD cleaning and organizing habits like I do.

Just about everything and anything. This is just the tool room of my main shop and garage. It will be used for woodworking, metal working, gunsmithing, cars, tractors, you name it.

You need ramps on both sides ... then you can drive the tractor onto the benches and work sitting underneath grin

I'm thinking about staining it golden oak. I think it would look better, and be less blotchy with plywood.

Awesome start on your shop. Good to see that I am not the only one to plan ahead and bury the pipes for vacuum and power in the floor. My shop is smaller, and it is nice to not work around pipes and cords. One hint: put T's where each comes up (with a sliding gate and an adapter for a vacuum hose). Another thing I did was to put a remote (cordless) switching system on each machine for the vacuum. Let us see what the finished shop looks like, cause you got a great start.

I looked at that per your recommendation. While it would look nice, it's too dark for the area. I'll need to go with something lighter.

Made the doors and the drawer fronts today. Nothing fancy, Just plywood with maple boarders to hide the edges. This is just about finished. Just some trim work, the last piece of steel, staining and sealing. I hope to be all done and moved back in by the end of the weekend. Here are some pictures of the doors and drawer fronts. I haven't adjusted the door hinges yet since I'll be taking them off for staining. That is why they look out of wack.
