That all new cars must be EV’s or Hybrids by 2035. If it does, how will this affect travel between states that will be mostly fossil fuel powered and are not so keen on installing EV charging stations?

You can’t apply much reality to anything that’s Cali related it’s a fantasyland it might be boarded up then or fell into the ocean. The great Governor said one week they had everything under control then weeks later it’s reported it’s the usual clown show failure.

So they walked that back already?? I thought they wanted all electric by then no hybrids. Even chainsaws and lawnmowers and such have to be electric by then or before.

Would it be such a bad thing if Californians had to stay home?

If we ever fence off the Mexican border it should turn North at the CA AZ border. When it reaches Oregon it could go west along the border to about HWY 97 then north again to Canada.

True and less people are visiting California.

Nothing here scares people more than seeing a U haul with CA tags in their neighborhood

No worries, California can't supply enough electric for their needs now! EVs aren't going to get out of the neighborhood, let alone out of the state. laugh

You can always tell someone from KKKalifornia, they are the ones running from their Fire state in Uhauls. Then they move somewhere and vote for the exact same BS and dumb things they run from!!

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

If you go all electric, whom ever controls the grid, controls YOU.

I can’t wait until they get enough folks stuck with EVs then drop the tax hammer to make up for the road tax money they would have lost out on. It’s a reality they don’t consider it seems like the first thing I’ll do is call my Tesla buddy.

California throws mud at the wall and sometimes it sticks. No more small engines.
California wants to go all electric. They shut the power off when the wind blows so their dilapidated grid doesn't burn down cities and forests, killing people. So what are you going to do when you're not allowed a small engine of any sort, no gas appliances, and your electricity is shut off. Seems like your right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness is being grossly infringed upon. Born and raised in northern California and it is so infuriating to see it turn into hopeless hole of misery.

I hope they make that goal sooner. With all of the battery fires without fire departments to put them out, all of the mismanaged forests will catch on fire all at once and burn them out quicker than Maui. Then when it rains, the monumental mudslides caused by all of the trees being burnt down will bury them all.

They won't have to worry about it they won't have enough range to get across the desert with the radio and ac running..
