What's yours?

It's unnaturally cold and snowy here today with a high of only 19 (if it gets there, it's only 14 right now).

Trying to decide what I want to make for supper tonight so I'm just looking for some inspiration.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

Chili with venison summer sausage sandwiches. Nothing better.

Heard on the news that the mayor of Chicago is calling for a cease fire in Gaza. Maybe should call for a cease fire in Chicago.

Gumbo or chili would be my picks. Had gumbo yesterday, it's chili tonite, and corn bread.

Its only supposed to get up to 63 here today, so a nice hot bowl of cabbage soup would hit the spot.

I find it ironic that every time the cold weather hits the lower 48, we are having a warm spell here. Its + 33 today.
Enjoy our below 0 weather. but not too long, we will need it back.

Not sure whats for dinner yet, its only 8:10 in the morning.

Don’t know why but chilli and soups have always been a cold days supper for me. Either homemade vegetable or potato soup warms me up.

Just got done clearing the snow drifts in front of the barn. 9°F

Came in and started prepping for dinner to keep busy
Stuffed jalapenos
Cream cheese, sweet baby Ray's, Colby cheese and bacon
They'll go in the oven later at 350°F for 45 minutes [Linked Image]

My favorite when I come in though is a bowl of Cream of Wheat with a dollop of brown sugar on top

We had chili the last two days, I got up at two and took the pork but out of the fridge, again at 5:30 to get the thing on the smoker. So I guess we are having pulled pork tacos most likely.

It’s only down to 21 here. I keep changing out the humming bird feeder, they meet me as I go out.
