Got diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday. They did blood tests and everything was normal. They gave me steroids, antibiotic and an inhaler.
I don't smoke, so that's supposed to be in my favor.
I need to go back in on Saturday for another x-ray to make sure that it's getting better rather than worse.
How long does it take to clear up? I got some killin what needs got done.

I've had it last different amounts of time. Go about your trapping hunting and fishing to your ability. Being active will help dislodge the mucus and you'll be able to cough it out and get rid of it. Your own body will tell you as normal when it's to much for it to handle. Take care

Get the pneumonia shot if you haven't yet. I used to get that and bronchitis every year many years ago but got the shot and never got them again since.

I had a bad respiratory infection years ago. I get pneumonia at least once per year since.

Just gotta keep moving or you'll quit moving... Most comfortable spot is in a tree stand kinda leaning forward..

depending how you treat the bronchitis about 3-4 days till it is pneumonia

yes they start different but everything is a path to pneumonia

and they don't put Bronchitis on your death certificate

wife had a co-worker die last week of Pnumonia

62 and he was sick but going to tough it out like usual till Friday when it wasn't right went to the ER went septic and his family called it Monday and took him off the vent.

don't tough things out and don't accept the Drs are doing all they can , keep asking if your not getting better for more
my grandmother tried to tough it out , luckily my grandpa called my mom in time who rushed her to the hospital that was about 1997 she was otherwise the picture of health , the meds they put her on for the sepsis caused a heart attack thankfully she pulled through that and is still alive at 91 she has a good 23+ years after the heart attack and is still very healthy but her mind is failing , but at least she is a fairly well adjusted and comfortable forgetful not combative or anything

I just got the pneumonia shot and am supposed to get a second in one year and that’s supposed to be lifetime protection.

Pneumonia can scar your lungs, and then it is easier to contract pneumonia subsequent to that.
Scarred lungs is basically damaged cillia, the little hairlike structures in the lungs that sweep crap upwards to allow you to expectorate it out.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
