It was a record, I only had to make two trips to get all my parts. Unfortunately, on my second trip, I accidentally pocketed a 1-1/2" coupler while I was trying to fit parts I needed and didn't realize it til I got home. Had to make a trip back to return the coupler I didn't pay for. Not to mention, another trip to take back all the fittings I paid for, but did not use. So, it'll be 4 trips. blush

I went from coal to propane and hooked into the existing duct work. I had a HVAC buddy make the adaptor to hook in. I don't have a sheet metal break.

I have done all my own plumbing

when I bought this house every inch of hot and cold water pipe were cut out and I redid them all in copper

only redid the drain pipes that needed it my cast iron stack is still working everything else is replaced up to it other than the one toilet.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Had to fix to many leaks after using them after a few years. They can't handle the high temperatures my outdoor wood burner produces. They start leaking when it's turned off for the year. Also has some leak on cold lines as well.

Oh....I'll always have wood heat, but....this gal I'm dating likes to travel, so I need to be able to leave the house.

I dont have a sheet metal break....per se....but I have some decent metal working tools, just enough to be dangerous...[Linked Image]
I just bent up and assembled the riser to the old plenum an hour ago, seems like it took me forever. I went from 12x20 to 16 x18”
