New to trapping, and new to the forum.

I dipped these last night and they're still very tacky. How long do I need to wait before using? All water sets. And I used the Coleman fuel.

This time of year it could take a looong time. Speed dip is best used in the hot summer months as the heat helps the gas evaporate and speeds drying time.
That being said, if they are water traps no big deal if they are a bit tacky or have a little odor. They will work just fine.

They'll be dry some time between a few days and never. Sometimes they just stay sticky and stinky.

You want hot and dry. For me in WI I like over 80 with low humidity. As low as you can and a breeze would not hurt either. If you have a fairly thick layer of speed dip on those traps now they may not dry until later this spring or as was stated the outer layer may get hard but you may have soft stuff until you may decide to do them again during better weather.

This time of year acetone and rusty metal primer would had been better choice for water sets.

Speed dip is best applied in summer with plenty of time to cure.

Those traps will cure as you use them-now go scratch that itch.
