Maybe you are being taught how the economics system is suppose to work, and not the way this administration is handling it. Quote the headline of the second article "The feds new money policy."

Does my post saying James maybe act like a twit fall under your gone if it happens again post white? Yes it does. Yotetrapper30 is an adult woman and completely capable of fighting her own battles....if there is one. She needs no help in that regard. If you can't add to the discussion of her point, then you have nothing to add. Kinda like like the old saying.......if you can't say something nice.............etc.

Okay, so I guess you know more about the subject than your professors.
Are you sure you're right? This isn't something you heard from Tucker Carlson, was it?
Jim [font:Arial Black][/font] Do you mean like this?

So Yotetrapper, If I understand you correctly, your complaint is mainly that your course work is based on outdated material ? If that's the case I can certainly see where test questions could be ambiguous and open to different interpretations as far as what is correct at that point in time.
To the rest of you. I figure James and Yotetrapper30 can manage their discussion between themselves.
It seems that if you are unable to address the OP's point, your fall back position is to attack someone else. Last warning from me about the name calling and hostility. You're gone if it happens again ! Correct, white. The course teaches monetary policy based on the Fed operating with limited reserves, but the Fed has been operating with ample reserves since the 2008 recession and has no intention of going back to operating with limited reserves. The ways the Fed adjusts interest rates with ample reserves is quite different than how they did so when they had limited reserves. The rest of you, behave. I sure don't want any of you getting banned trying to defend my honor to James for crying out loud, lol.
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

Maybe you are being taught how the economics system is suppose to work, and not the way this administration is handling it. Quote the headline of the second article "The feds new money policy." I mean, that's a valid point, but it's not just this administration. The Fed has been operating with ample reserves since 2008 and has no intention of going back to a limited reserve system. I would think that 15 years would be long enough to get the course materials updated. And if it's what White said and they just don't want to go into that level of detail in an intro course, then shouldn't they teach that the Fed operates with ample reserves but the way they adjust rates is beyond the scope of the class, than to spend 3 weeks teaching that the Fed does things it no longer does?
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

That may very well be but it does not give you license to attack James.
You can post on any thread you choose but address the subject of the tread.
Paul or I can deal with James. It benefits no one to attack him.
Point accepted

Then run the troll off. He knows full well this is by definition a forum of killers and he knowingly and willfully provokes. And then plays the victim when the inevitable occurs. This isn't honest debate or disagreement on his part but an intentional passive aggressive act.
