Well, I'm attending the online classes earning my Bachelors' through the University of Maryland.

I'm taking an economics class. In it, 3 of the 8 weeks of my study focused on the relationship between the Federal Reserve and banks. A relationship based on the Fed operating on a limited reserve system, which is something that has not been the case since 2008.

We were taught all about open market operations, the money multiplier, and bunch of other stuff that went the way of the dodo bird over 15 years ago and nothing about how the Fed actually manages money which is through the use of the IORB and the ON RRP facility which we were taught nothing about and I would not even be aware of if not for a footnote in our textbook.

What's worse, half of the questions on our exam would have been marked incorrect if I answered them correctly, since all the info is outdated.

I guess the conference slogan of Dream Big fits, though, since they're busy teaches dreams instead of reality, lol. I wish is just meant more, lol.

You should have taken your course from Penn State.

His reading comprehension is severely lacking for a lawyer. Even this dumb equipment operator can read and comprehend she would not have know about it to look into if not for a foot note in her Text book.

Professors are "professionals", same as lawyers....so you can't question anything they say. They're smarter than anybody because they have that diploma that says they're good little liberals.

Remember that the next time anyone wants to use a degree to validate their opinions. A simple litmus test would be "Did you get ALL the answers correct, or just enough to pass?"

Anyway, most colleges are liberal seminaries producing spokespersons to espouse and promote the destruction of common sense and moral truth.

I can't begin to list all the "facts that ain't" that I've been fed by educators over the years.

Get used to it; it ain't going to change. College is where you go to learn how to think. When it comes testing time; you know what they want. When you graduate you can apply whatever principles you believe to be correct.

I should have taken it from an SEC school. Unfortunately Maryland was one of only 2 schools I could choose from and the other one I'd never even heard of.

Did the Professor write the book , requires their book for the class but the information is outdated since they haven't updated the book in 16 years and the class spends very little time using the book.

it would be much cheaper if you each tossed a 20 in the hat to pay the teacher more than they make off the book they require so you could just get covered what they really want.
