No expert here by any means Not going to get into a heated debate with anyone over a scope for sure. But I have learned that some things you are better off spending a little more on. Apparently you have decided that the scopes you use fit your needs and budget and that is all that matters. Anyone who reacted the way that guy did also shows a lack of intelligence

I buy what my research says is the better choice if a guy gets ahead of himself it seldom ends well so take your time do the research and care less what others think about what your doing.

Own several brands of scopes, High end to low end, Name doesn't mean squat to me, It's how the scope fits my needs. Hunting, Long Range shooting , Target shooting, bench rest, Competion shooting PRS, NRL, But I will say this Arken, might be made in China, but there top end has Japanese. Glass, same as Zeiss, that I own, only scope maker out there made American, is NightForce. couple Leupold, top end. Own each, If I covered uo the scopee, and you couldn't see maker, betting you would have hard time telling me which is which. I served with a elite group In VN, and there wasn't a Leupold, to be found, main scopes, Unertl, Colt, Hi Lux , Redfield, StarLight, few Weavers. Vortex came on the market, and have several another good scope, Japanese glass, asian manufacter. My main problem with them is they were so poplar , over priced at present, as Leupold. That's my opion, not going to get in to rock throwing event, will use any scope If someone, wants to buy for me. I buy and use what I like, If I don't like scope down the road it goes. As stated above research what you want, there are people on this site who know and have knowledge of equipment. They bought and used before making statments.

You see it in trapping too, and I don't mean saying this trap or that lure is great. That's fine and I can respect that opinion.... But when I start hearing "This is the greatest, bestest' trap there is, bar none.. Hands down!" ..... I check out right then and there, you see it a lot on YouTube.. I just cant take them seriously anymore..

Burris is the best scope for the money, anyone who thinks otherwise is too opinionated. Burris scopes were real good YEARS ago. But so we're Tascos.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Who gets into conversations with random people at the gas pump? Especially about guns. If some dude started talking about things like that to me I would probably unzip my coat and open the snap from my holster. Why? Are you afraid to talk to people? I’ve had many conversations at the gas pump. You need to relax a little. It is considered polite to have conversations with people.
