My top beaver was 67 and avg of 36.57

Really good sell on most items.

I averaged $39.25 on 20 beaver. 1- 3x, 5- 2x, 6- xl, 1 large, 3 large mediums, and 4 mediums.

Only if you sold while the craft buyers are will there.

Back when coyotes were selling for $80-$90 avg and I was selling beavers for $13-14 I asked a similar question: "Any good news on beavers"?

Those sound like some very decent beaver prices. I might break out some of my supers just to see what they go for next auction. $67 sounds great!

I saw some beaver hit 71$.

I didn't see much else. I was doing skinning demos all freaking day
Grading started at 8 . Sale started at 9. Around a 100 lots sold.
At least one small beaver went for 19$
One bobcat for 95$ (Mississippi)
Otter hit at least 55$

It was a long day.

Also roughly 16 buyers there but some didn't buy.
Anyone with beaver should be happy.

Sucks cause now I have to put up around 65 beaver I was planning on selling green.
Green beaver only brought 22 for the high.

The Ohio sales always pay far more for fur than folks get at the PTA sales here. Kidron is about 2.5 hours from my place. Easy run out the interstate. Is there any issues or obstacles for someone from Pa to sell there?

One figures that $67 is more than what the felt market value is for beaver. Must be for sewing or wall hanging.

I don't know, but he was bidding on every beaver that came through when I watched and he got most of them. He bought all of mine. He never hesitated when asked to bid higher than the previous bid on my beavers.

I heard at the sale that there was a good market for the heavier shearable beavers and that anything else would go to the hatter market.

Zander and a buyer from Illinois bought the majority of the beaver and all of mine.

I suppose it's too late for you guys to start a gofundme to buy vaseline for those poor Thompson Table beaver sellers up north who averaged $20 Canadian on their beaver last week.
