If you believe that rights are granted by God, then you should agree that all people have a right to defend themselves from violence....unless you believe that God only grants that right to Americans?

The Constitution is a social contract for American citizens. Other countries have their own social contracts with their citizens.

Yup all are CREATED equal, your personal use of free will can create an imbalance of equality. Commit a felony and you've chosen to give up certain rights that were endowed to you upon birth. Not sure illegal entry is a felony but it should be.


Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

The Constitution does not give you the right to bear arms. It bars the Government from taking away that right so it follows that everyone has that right, even non-citizens. Yes, you can lose certain rights if you commit a crime but it must be upon conviction.

Upon conviction, otherwise who decides when a person has committed a felony. Long term consequences if we let the Administrative State decide when a person becomes a felon.

I don't believe that everyone is protected under The Constitution. I believe the constitution only fully and completely protects the legal citizens of the USA. If you have evidence that says it fully and completely applies to everyone I'd be interested in seeing it.

Felons shouldn't be banned from owning guns after their sentences are complete though, so..........

"We the People" are legal citizens of the U.S.A.

Illegals are instant felons (after obtaining a firearm) as mentioned above, disqualifying them from the 2nd amendment...This should be a no brainer.

That goes back to the original post and how you define "the people". I'll place my stance on the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence:
