87 green/frozen beaver = $22/avg...all in & I had many big beavs, as did Gary M. 27 green/frozen otter = $23.15/avg...all in & many of this year's were young otters and females...a few more than 1/3 were adult males. All were bi-catch in beaver sets. I never intentionally set an otter trap. I saw a couple put-up bcat at $70 (they were bigguns with good spots), saw $50 put-up XL otter, $10 put up grey fox, and $5 put-up 3x coon.

Yessir...not too bad Steven. Considering it's deep South fur. I was hoping to see at least $20/avgs on the green beavs, but wasn't sure about current market. And I really didn't expect that group of otter I had would break $20....

How do those beaver averages compare to other southern venues?
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Roaming around buying frozen beaver hides, i wonder how much weight they are hauling back? lol. Fuel mileage down the drain going back. Those are great price's for that coastal crap plus the cost of driving all the way down and going back up, lot of expense before they even buy the first piece of fur. Ran into a old friend yesterday, got a buyer out of La. that comes up and buys, he's always been a big otter buyer for long as i can remember. Buddy got 16.00 on his green beaver and 30 - 40 on his green otter.

Walleyed, Didn't get a break down by size. Offered straight average for total nose count.

I didn't see enough price difference in green otter compared to put-up otter for me to scrape amd board them next year. Maybe $5 difference.

Nice Swamp. Lots of hard work right there. ADC work is different then just skimming off the excess. Sarge
Getting old is a fatal mistake
Always looking for reloading componets
I know a beaver or two, because I've seen a beaver or two

What is the buyers name out of La. That is big on otter.
Perry. Was another one down there years ago, can't remember his name, may not even be buying anymore, know ALOT of them got hosed bad when China quit buying otter all of a sudden. 150.00 otter suddenly weren't worth 5 dollars.
