Two 2019 here, undercoated with oil every other year, paint on both is holding up fine.

If the frame was aluminum I would steer clear, I've seen WAY too many aluminum horse, cattle and atv trailers cracked and broke to pieces. Alright if you are strictly driving on good paved roads, but aluminum doesn't hold up to the stress of potholed gravel roads nearly as well as steel. They're steel frames. Ford used the weight saved by making the body panels out of aluminum to beef up the frame. Thank you very much!

I live on the Canadian border and average 120" of snow per year with a lot of salt/sand put down on the roads. My 2015 F-150 (aluminum) looks like new. 1450,000 miles. I do get the frame sprayed at Krown Rustproofing every spring though. My last two F-150's , 1998 and 2005, rotted out at the frame.

I have a 2015 F-150 and have had no issues. Happy with it so far. Paint looks great.
