I've been overhauling a 20 year old Yamaha ATV this winter. It's been in a marine environment for 15 years; lots of rusted and rounded-off bolt heads and nuts. I saw this pair of vice grips at O'reilly's. Maybe they've been around for years, but i've never seen them. They work unbelievably well, much better than the regular style vice grips.

I’ve never seen them. They are pretty cool looking. Can you post a picture of them closed?
Eh...wot?

Looks like a real useful vise grip. Never seen one but will be looking.

Actual Vice Grip brand, or somebody else?

Malco has some USA made locking pliers. But they don't look like this. Eagle Grip locking pliers, they have been discontinued.

Those vice grips look handy for certain jobs. I'll be looking for some. My Vice-Grip hack. I modified the one on the bottom. I keep it in my boat. What I use it for is very temporary impromptu mooring. When fishing I will clamp the vice grips to a branch or docking ring or any other thing handy and attach a line with a carabiner. Easy , simple , cheap and it works good.

Just checked harbor freight, they have a parrot nose slip joint pliers but no vice grip style, both Irwin and Vice Grip have a vice grip style for less then the one posted.
