Has anyone had success with catching fox in DP traps I have heard of people doing it every once in a while but does anyone have success using DP traps only? If so is there a certain bait that you used?

No, I've never heard of that. I wouldn't use my DPs for that purpose.

I caught one gray in several years of use. I would never recommend them for that purpose.

Yeah there a few guys who do it pretty easy when it comes to greys. Dig a dirt hole big enough for them to fit along with firing off sick them in but make sure you work the stabilizer steak so it can come out easy. Bait it with something they wanna pull out and then kind camo it a lil and make a dirt pattern in front. Push pulls are the best for this .

Where's Jonesy ? He could tell you all about it along with some of the guys from Louisiana

Most fox caught in DP’s are incidental catches. I don’t know of anyone that would “target” fox with DP’s. My son has caught several that way, but the traps were set for coons, guess the fox just liked grape flavored cat food.
