The other problem is occasional bad catches on fisher where they are caught by the top of the head or snout. The boxes with the hinge in the middle make up for this but you will occasionally have a frozen fisher that you will have to take the entire box home to thaw out in order to remove it from the box. Every style has its disadvantages.

This is what I do for fisher with 120's. Trigger on the bottom, back jaw & pointed at the bait. that has eliminated snout/head catches. IMO, triggers on the bottom pickup more weasels & marten.

Nice share Butch, thanks.
That is basically how I used to set all my small body grips for fisher.

My triggers I had a little differently.I like mine on the top bent very wide and outward away from the conibears. This way the bigger Fisher could get his head further into the smaller coninears when they grab the bait and lift their head.I get a lot of neck caught Fisher and suitcases on the marten and smaller Fisher [Linked Image]

I still catch some weasels but it was amazing how those bigger male Fisher could get their head further into the conibear with my triggers this way.
