Alder, Becket, Blade, Darwin, or Rory are all good old English names and you could add Sir, Earl, Lord, or Master to the name to make a good "papered" name.

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

[quote=Dan D]You'll know when you bring him home. Dad named mine as soon as I walked in the door with her. Said she looked like a Polly and it stuck. Used to raise our own birds and it was a joy to watch her work. This is her with my daughter back in 1999. [Linked Image]
[/quote Looks like a great hunting dog I had a great grand mother that had 11 children in her life time including 2sets of twins I did o know her but have heard some wonderful things abut her She must have been a strong person .Her name was Emma And I named my female Bn Spaniel Emmy She seems to like it all most as much as I do . Also my Emmy's sire was Elvis Blue As in Elvis Pressly So Emmy Lou rhymes with Elvis Blue If you have a favorite relative that was maybe in the military or public service was just a really good person it is a Way to remember them even after they are gone .

Andy why I foster now. Test drive em before you buy em. Even littlermates end up with different personalities, traits, bla bla bla. Puppys are a total crap shoot. Good luck.

I met a couple guys who purchased pups from the same litter I got mine from. Three sibling dogs. This was about thirty years ago and we hunt birds together and remain friends to this day. One of those pups was a total dud. I'm bringing one of these guys home. Can't wait.
