Last night I saw a clip where one of the girls that had barricaded herself in the building was upset that the cops wouldn't let them out of the building. Apparently once the cops showed up some of them wanted to skedaddle but the cops kept them in place while getting set up to arrest them all. The girl was on video saying "But they can't keep us locked in here, it's finals week!" LOL

These cop need to use a water cannon to teach these kids a lesson.

Saw one of the protesters at Columbia U. being interviewed on FOX. They asked him if he was worried about being arrested? He said he wasn't because they would let him out in 24 hours. He's probably right about that.

I thought forcing your way into buildings was bad.

The new movement seems to be to act terribly and then demand that the victims of your action feed and take care of you.

If disrupting classes from being held those students protesting need to have their student loans to become due in full within 30 days. Those protesters here on ANY kind of visa need to have visa's canceled and sent home.

I 100% agree with that.

Their relatives, who came with them on the family visas, that are often given to family members of foreigners on student and work visas need expelled from the US too.

If I paid for my kids to go to college and they pulled this stunt just before graduation, I would be so pizzed off and disappointed.

First I would stop all government funding for any school that refuses to act on any protests involving violence, trespassing, anti-semitism, or interfering with classes in any way. Suspend any student guilty of these infractions.

The same would apply to teachers who condone these activities and be held responsible and fired.

Endowments. A lot of these schools are nothing more than hedge funds masquerading as institutions of higher learning. Strip them of any government funding and stop with these ridiculous student loans.

This. I paid out of pocket for 3 college educations. Were I paying now and the kids I was paying for not getting the education and freedom of resources I was paying for by contract I would be suing both the college and the federal government for breech and I’m betting it would become a class action suit.
It’s about time the colleges themselves face some real consequence for their decisions and behavior of the hired educators.

To the best of my knowledge and recall none of the educations I sponsored came at the hands of foreign educators. If I wanted that to happen I’d have sent my youth over seas.
