I also like Bridger footholds, but I have used victors for years. I don't really like victors that much because the pan is very wobbly.

Thought he was referring to the Bridgers. On the Victors, without nut and bolt adjustment try bending the very tip of the dog up to give the pan some tension.

Speaking of traps, the trap most people use in Australia to catch dingoes are big double spring “ lanes ace” traps that are about the same size as a Newhouse wolf trap, they also have pretty powerful springs.
This is a joke heard a while ago , and it makes me laugh every time I hear it:
A man walks into the doctors office with a badly broken arm.
He says to the doctor “ can you please fix this for me doc, but don’t bother about the anaesthetic, because I don’t feel any pain”
The doctor is puzzled by this, but still sets the man’s broken arm and sure enough, the man never even flinches.
After he has finished the doctor says “ have you ever felt pain?” And the guy says “ yeah doc , twice. The first time was when I was dingo trapping years ago. I was crouching down over the trap setting it , when the (not acceptable on trapperman) thing goes off and catches me fair on the balls!”
“ I see “says the doctor “ that must have been very painful, but what was the second time?”
“ that was when the slack on the chain took up!” grin

What do use 330s for? Besides beaver or otter.

You catch yotes with 330s!? That's cool! I thought yotes wouldn't go near a bodygrip

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

it takes the right de-scenting but if you use a big cubby set it works great. Also heard it works for wolves

Some of the trappers that I deal with said they couldn’t get a wolf near a 330, I guess you guys figured it out though!
