Race shouldn't matter. But, when they move to a country quite often they want to change that country to their culture which is very different from yours, and that's a problem.
In America, we have people leaving their country because of hardship. Then once they are here, they want to change America to be like the country they just left. Same thing will happen in Canada as it has in other countries. Makes one think hardship isn't the real reason they are immigrating to another country. Ulterior motives, maybe?

Last week I flew too Montreal for 4 days to attend a CAF ceremony at St Jean garrison

I have never been before and was excited to meet some French Canadians on their home turf

Never had a single interaction with a French Canadian the entire time

It was shocking, very disappointing

Amazing to see that many believe people that destroy their own country are going to be different here

I have had good interactions with new Canadians.
The other day I was in a wal mart in Timmins,I had a couple items in my cart and there were 2 young new Canadians with a full cart just ahead of me.They told me to go ahead of them in line.
Nice to see young people respectful of their elders.

Also a few years ago I was at the Airport in Toronto,bring my Fathers cremated remains back to Ireland for his funeral.
A guy at the airport was going to put the urn thru the X-Ray machine,when a Older man with the Turbine on his head stepped in and did not let him do that explaining that human remains deserve respect.
Another respectful gesture.I like people like that.
If they want to keep and celebrate their heritage like I do mine,I have no problem with that.
Multiculturalism is celebrated in Canada.

There's good and bad in every race and culture, Problem is we seem to be getting mostly the bad, and that's the fault of govt's not vetting the arrivals.

Who cares about Canada.
