I had to get a newer truck with electric windows. My bursitis got too bad to roll down the window fast enough without moaning too loud.

For sure my stick ladders are hefty. I use a HS linesman harness when hanging them and the stick ladders, but my knees and grip are getting weaker. I'd rather not test that safety line.

I'm about too old to use the hang-ons much longer. Thought about cleaning them up and putting a nice new camo paint job on em and selling them. But, there is always that one limby tree that is THE tree in the right spot......and I talk myself out of selling them....lol

Serious question nephew. How many bucks are you allowed each year there? How many total deer ?

A few of the ones that earned a place inside the house. Many others in workshop....and some of those "qualify" for inside display. About half of these are archery kills (NOT a crossbow) and others are rifle.

Only 4 or 5 of these are from public land, so I tip my hat in honor of those consistent public land mature buck killers.

Have never got to test the harnesses, but have came close a couple times when a limb I was holding on to broke.

I didn't use these either until about 20 years ago. Working many treestand fall incidents as a GW enlightened me.

This hanging harness is great and keeps the sweat off my camo harness. Been using one of these for about 10 years now with the hang-ons.

I even use my camo harness when in my climbers. But I still don't do the "safety line attachment from the ground" thing.....yet.

I use that black one only when putting the hang-ons up. It has bigger pockets for the straps and such.

Unless you can fly....I'd consider a good HS harness for ANY hang-on hunter.

No...has easily adjustable leg straps.

But, if you get to test it out....it might while your hanging there....if you fall. But it comes with a foot strap that you retrieve from a pocket, clip it on, and you put your foot/feet in it to take the pressure off your groin.....a foot strap...so to speak.

I bought this one last year after DECADES hunting from trees without one. This is so comfortable don’t know I have it on. Put it on before I put my heavy outer jacket on. Have carabiner in front before you zip up jacket and throw it over your shoulder
