It does look long in those pics, but I honestly don’t notice it. And the optic really isn’t that high to me, it actually fits in line with my eye when I shoulder it.
It’s a 16” barrel, but the suppressor is 9” so yeah, guess it is long. I left the BogPod in the truck and took the trigger stick last night. First pig was on the tripod, second was free hand at 125yds. It’s equal to weight or less than the bolt gun I was running with the iRay.
My bullet of choice is the 165gr Remington CoreLokts Tipped. Yes, way overkill probably and people laugh at using that caliber for hogs and coyotes, but I get paid for what falls and I find.

Just an update…The SFAR, so far, is still running smooth. Still haven’t done a thing to it either, other than run a bore snake down the barrel. Still no FTF, FTE, etc…it’s a smooth operator. Still only using it suppressed on setting 1 with the CoreLokts 168gr. The more I use the AGM Rattler 640 the more I like it too. Hoping to get back into calling coyotes soon…pups should be out and about.
If I get any single pigs coming back in, I might just take the Predator and iRay out.
