there is a Chinese clone of a 870 made by the same company that made the NEF Pardner pump it is Chinese

they don't even get bids on gun broker , I see one 26 in barrel youth model in 20ga has a bid of 99.

18 inch cylinder bore 12ga 5 in the tube 1 in the chamber 2 3/4 or 3 . back plastic and really thin grey finish almost like Parkerizing in color but just so thin that it is rubbing of in places and I doubt it ever had more than 25 rounds through it.
and it has a touch of rust speckle just from sitting looks like it was in a case and maybe went cold to warm.

they were 149.99 new

so what say you , how much would you give for a working shotgun of this type?

I guess as long as we are on that note , an old single shot break Stevens with a rust speckle all over.
12ga it might have a mod or a full choke.

I would say the Stevens is worth 220 the rip of 870 is 120 the Stevens single shots work really well in survival situations very reliable and they hold therye value you can even buy insert packs that go together so you can shoot 20 ga .410 45 colt 223 556 and .22 lr

I would purchase Blue Book of Gun Values. That what I used when I unloaded a lot of mine. My books to old to help now.

Not much I buy as few of Chinese products as possible I have seen them sell at our local gun auction for about $60-75

They quit printing the Blue Book so it doesn't exist anymore. The Chi-Com 870 knock off will still bring about $125. The Stevens 12 gauge is going to be tough to move but will eventually bring $60-75.

Your selection sounds a lot like mine, and mine (a couple dozen) is going right now.
My reasoning is send it to online auction. That makes it (them) available to many buyers all at the same time, and hopefully they will bid against each other for a couple weeks. I am expecting an average of a couple hundred bucks for the everyday el cheapo crap. My guess there is pretty much supported by the previous auction results that I have seen for this company's previous auctions.

Most of my other (non-firearm) stuff went via on line auction and overall, rather than item by item, brought a very decent price.

I'll come crawling back with a huge apology if I'm proven wrong in about 5 weeks.

I don't have any of this stuff on gun broker yet any way , gun broker takes a cut and yes you get a little higher price with a national audience but then you have to take shipping out.
so a 120 dollar gun with 25-30 dollars shipping makes a high bid look like 95-90 and then take some off for gun broker fees looking like 80-85 left

so this is sort of a what to put in the Widows donation fund and tell her it sold

I have all the guns I need, if one of my boys wanted a shotgun I'd give them the money to buy a decent gun before I'd let them buy a 870 knock off.

I have all I need also , and if it was a for regular use gun I would definitely go better.

And so, you have a shotgun snob, that can only be seen with his designer gun. There are plenty of folks that know a Hi Point or Boito has its place, and is tremendous if you understand its limitations.

And don't forget that they now send you a 1099 at the end of the year so you get to claim it as "income" now too.

I don't think I am a shotgun "snob" but if I am getting a tactical shotgun for home defense I at least want some quality and dependability. That is the same reason I don't carry a Lorcin or HiPoint as a carry gun. If I ever need it, I want something that will work every time.

Around here the gentleman's credo is any gun which fires properly is a hundred dollar gun minimum.
We ain't much on dickering when it comes to guns at the lower end of the spectrum.

Help her out. Bite the bullet and give a $100 each. Then clean them up and move them on your own. You won't make anything but you will help her out.
