A hog this size can basically pull start a pickup truck rolling from a dead stop. This guy stuck his snout thru a piglet size set but the green limb trick was more than his neck could stand. Notice that there is no catch circle. He hit the end and it was lights out.

It'd heart breaking to go to the work of catching a 3 to 4 hundred dollar cat and feed it to the eagles.

And they’ll absolutely clean you out these days in open country.

Getting to be quite a few out there.

Call the warden and ask them to kindly come and release there cat. wink

Our host actually knows someone, maybe the warden, with game and fish and I might have to. I’d try my best to do it myself first just so I could say I once did it. I’m used to releasing bobcats but like I say, them big uns would be something else. Looking very forward to just coming out and being there in an area that has them and occasional wolves go through. Here, closest thing we have are packs of free roaming, deer chasing dogs.

All of the cats I've snared set for coyotes didn't end well. I've only got one whole one because he was caught around the middle and was still alive. All the others were eaten up by birds and coyotes
