Oak Wilt - This time of year you will see leaves wilting from the top of the tree down. It will spread quickly thru the root system to surrounding red oaks. Last year we cut all Red oaks on 85 acres to salvage the value in the timber before the trees would die. Talk to a State Forester in your area. THey should be able to give you more information.
