Walleyed,

I too have spent many days fishing the St Regis Wilderness Canoe area. Never fished nellie and Bessie though. Lately spend more time in the Five Ponds & West Canada Lakes Wilderness.

Nice.I agree with the Fall colors on them.My oldest son is big on fishing the wilderness ponds in the Adirondacks for brookies..He has a ten foot Hornbeck canoe.They are very light weight and he walks MILES into small lakes with it.Puts it over his head and it sets into grooves in his back pack that he made somehow.We have a camp near Stillwater and he uses that for base camp while on his adventures.
