Nice poke. I like your humor. Illegals can work regular jobs on the books just like you and me. They don't get any of the tax money back but they pay the same taxes as us. They'll never see social security but they are funding it. People paint a picture of illegals being a bunch of leaches and welfare families, and I can say that in my 40 years on earth Mexicans take the jobs nobody else is willing to do, like working in the fields. I'm not saying every person coming here has good intentions and I am 100% in favor of securing the border and stopping illegal immigration. There is the other issue of millions of people that have been here for a decade or more working hard, not taking handouts, with zero criminal history, just doing what the rest of us are doing. Are we going to send them back? I agree America has too many freeloaders already, and we don't need to import more. The first thing that has to happen is to stop the illegal immigration, until that happens, anything else is futile.

if we had a short term worker visa, say 90 days, then they could come here pick the crops and leave when the work is done. There are solutions if your concern is no American doing some jobs. Altho there are 2 sides to that coin, they also drive down wages and push Americans out of jobs when they work willing off the books for unscrupulous employers.

As far as the tax end of it they get much more in benefits than they pay in, they get hospital care, Pregnant Mexican walks across the border and we pay the fee. They send their kids to school and we pay the bill. Insurance rates are higher due to uninsured motorists.
Any illegal getting involved in the justice system is costing the tax payers. These are all high dollar expenses.

Very true. I'm glad you added that, I was thinking about it as I was typing out my argument. I will say the schools are paid with property taxes, so anyone who rents a house or owns property is paying for schools either directly or indirectly. But yes anyone working under the table is not contributing to society, they are takers, just like our politicians

Bill Clinton nixed the worker visa program. How's that for the left being compassionate and caring of the little guy. I grew up on 80 acres of alfalfa and corn, tomatoes, barley, artichokes. The people who worked the fields were on the worker visa program. After it was abolished, they either had to leave or apply for residency. I guess it was an obsolete program since there's millions of illegals and only a hundred thousand migrant workers.

Poor people ( Americans too) usually cost the taxpayers more than the taxes they pay in. We have a progressive tax system and poor people tend to use more government services because they income qualify and generally have kids. Society does benefit from the work that poor people perform.

Hopefully Tommy Robinson (Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon) and Nigel Farage can save Great Britain. I think they should make Tommy king and Nigel Prime Minister. Tommy has shown he is willing to bleed, suffer and if need be, die for Great Britain. He would make a better king then my distant cousin Charles.
