How does everyone store their grease guns in hot weather to contain the mess ?
Sick of cleaning up melted grease

freezer.

I keep mine in the gun safe. It doesn't leak, but whoever ends up on the businesses end of it and does something stupid will find themselves leaking regardless of the weather.

Well there's hot..and stupid hot.... I keep my mini wrapped in a rag under the seat of my truck, no mess.
In Las vegas you probably would need the freezer...

my dad always kept his in a plastic bag under the seat in his van , he mostly only greased the boat and trailer.

I hang it on my metal rack in my pole barn .

pretty much what I do, never heard of it getting so hot that grease would run out of a grease gun.

I have two of them hanging on a post outside of my tool shed. One has a flexible hose and the other a metal tube. They drip in the summer but I don’t care.

I’ve never even heard of this problem before but my garage is air conditioned.

Don't live in a place that tries to cook you to death. Never had a problem here in Michigan.

I save old socks and put them over the gun tip and store vertical in 5-gallon bucket with extra tubes and rags. I use it every day on equipment and this works for me.

i use a 5 gallon bucket also.

I put mine up so the kids wouldn't be playing with it. Now I can't find it. Maybe I'll never find it and not have to worry about a mess.

If the grease is melting. I'd use better grease.

I put mine in a plastic tub wrapped with paper towels.

We use a pair of metal 55 gallon drums for trash cans at the farm. One has about 4 grease guns hanging on the lip of the barrel. Handle is only thing on the outside , that way all the mess stays in the can. Pile of grease rags on the can also. When I take them to a tractor / implement I put the gun and extra tube in a 5 gallon bucket in the back of the truck. Keeps the mess contained-mostly !

Hang mine by the handle over a conduit pipe for the plug sockets along the wall.

I use a old cut off gas can, under grease guns and funnels.

Lay it on a piece of cardboard on a shelf.

Every time I go to use one the dang thang is always empty. I guess I am the only one at work who knows how to put in a fresh tube.

Hang mine from a nail in the barn. Never heard of one dripping before. I use good grease and a flexible hose if that matters. Maybe you just need a new end on your grease gun

I cut out all the compartments in an old plastic carry case of an old cordless drill and keep it in there.

LOL, Maybe all the grease ran out!

use high temp or blue marine grease

Same way I find them at work always empty.

Why do I always run out of grease right before I get to the last fitting on the truck?
I am talking about after I burp the air out of it to grease the next to the last fitting!
