I like all the berries if they’re the right varieties . Hate mulberries though insipid sweet nothings.
The raspberries on that little gal’s fingers were ‘Cascade Delight’. One of my favorite varieties. Big, firm and outstanding flavor.

Cool picture BP.

I think I love them all but raspberries or huckleberries straight off the bush are hard to pass up. Aldis has some black berries as big as my thumb that havent been hybridized so much they have lost their flavor.

Also they are tiny but I can eat a pint of ripe mulberries PDQ.

Himalaya blackberries. My wife picks about 500 lbs a year off our farm to sell at the farmers market or to freeze.

And our main crop: rabbit eye blueberries.

That blueberry pic was taken the 1st of October. One of the main benefits for me with the rabbit eyes is all the other high bush farms have been done for a month or more and I still have gobs of ‘em. People can hardly believe their eyes. And it’s ver cool being the only guy at the market that still has fresh blues! 😎

This years strawberry planting. You’ll notice I had to go to extreme measures to fence out the gol-durn blacktails!
