Over the past year or so i’ve been going through the archives looking at fur shed ideas. I finally finished my 8 x 13 shed using alot of info you all have provided. Its walls are 8 ft high not including the rafters. Here’s a tour sterting with a front view, then moving from left to right around the building.

I decided to keep most stuff off the floor, keeping it open for skinning. While the shed is storage over the summer, all spare tires, snowblower, etc is removed for trapping season.

The extra height is great for keeping things out of the way.

Well, lets hear it - what do you all think?

Looks great! You may want to add insulation at some point, but that's easy enough to do.

Sweet it won’t take long to out grow it so think about the next addition. I find I never have enough room.

Thanks guys. I’m limited here to the size i can construct, so while i think your right lawdog, i’m going to have to suck it up and live within my current means. Insulation is likley something that will follow, but i don’t know what type would be best. The pink stuff takes up too much room, and the foam is god-awful expensive. There is that white styroform with the foil backer available but i’m not sure how effective it is. We’ll see.

Looks good! My buddy’s building something similar, keeping it 8x12’ or something like that so he doesn’t have to pay tax on it. Adding insulation & a stove too?

No plans for a stove yet. I’ll just use a space heater for the time being to keep the chill off.
I Would like to insulate but really don’t want to spend too much on it and definitely don’t want to create a home for mice.

Looks good, way to organized.
But even better for you, mine is halfway organized a week before trapping.
