Woke up this morning to this, it was still snowing at 3:30PM, BTW, this is in Washington.
I know we've had a cooler spring than normal, but this is ridiculous.

Don't feel like the lone ranger waggler , the weather service is calling for a foot plus of snow in parts of Montana from what I understand . I may get to ride my snowmobile after all this year ha ha

I took my daughter and grandkids to catch a plane home this morning and at 4 A.M. it was 29. Yesterday they had a hailball fight. Local ski areas had snow yesterday morning.

The weather this year has been crazy. I remember having a snowball fight with some guys from work on the 4th of July in 1993 at Lolo Pass. Anything can happen I guess.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Was about 75 at dawn this morning here. Got up to 90. About 80 right now. Wheat harvest is starting and folks are all cutting hay. Been a wet spring. Stuff is growing. Corn is 3-4 foot high. Peach blossoms all froze this year.

I was traveling from visiting family in Montana to Wyoming that year and spent the night in the pickup in Yellowstone and woke up Fourth of July to fresh snow. And I remember in the early 2000s spending the night in the hills out of Elk River and waking up to fresh snow on July 4the

Don't know if it is true but when I worked in West Yellowstone they said it had snowed on every day of the year over recorded history. Odd weather here in Europe too.

I remember waking up in Yellowstone the morning of the big fire,,,,,, Someone decided they wanted to let that area/campground burn because of Bear problems,,,,Controlled fire when it started...

Old Faithful was late that day.
