Yes sir! I like this thread. I’m seeing critters I may never see and definitely won’t see down here, lol!!

The white fawn hasn’t shown back up on camera since a couple dogs came through. The white does has come through numerous times but only with a brown fawn.

We did have enough rain that I was getting lots of pictures of my feathered friend.


Have lots of nice young bucks, but nothing big. Looks like I might need to knock down some vegetation pretty soon.

I haven’t gotten a pic of the G2 buck since July 5. He heads South for a while, then should show back up about the 3rd week of August or so…hopefully.

Had another nice buck show up last night. Don't think he's the same guy I posted earlier, he looks a bit smaller to me.

Lithium they last a while for me like almost a full year

Haha…I buy the 48AA packs from Sam’s. I keep mine set for 5 min intervals over feed during the Spring/Summer. On cams that are on trails I’ll keep to 0 seconds.
On hog cams I’ll switch them to 60min during the day and set them to 5 min and hour before dark. If pigs show up I’ll drop it to 30sec for sneaking purposes.
My batteries normally last a couple of months or so this time of year.

My only issue with Lithium is they’ll show 100% until they die, lol. At least on cell cams. And all my cameras are Spartan cell cameras
When I was running regular trail cams regular AA’s would last almost a year.

Lithium in the winter they last longer in the cold, summer just good quality Alkali can get 4-5 months for much less cost.

Regular Energizer AAs is what I use in all cameras except my Spartan cell cam.

I use a rechargeable 6volt sealed battery in a Harbor Freight 30cal ammo box for the Spartan. Use a bungee cord and hang the battery box on back of tree. About once per year charge is all that's needed for 10s of thousands of pics.

Just got a camera out this week. Decent 8. Top pic is best pic I've got of this buck so far. He looks like hes hot good mass, forked g2 on right side and maybe some other nontypical stuff.

Haven't hunted this spot for a few years so no real history with any of these bucks

Just Rayovacs or Kirkland AAs bought in the bulk pack, depending on what store I'm at when I need them. Checked a couple cameras today, one had a total of four pictures on it, first one when a bear broke it off the tree, two while it was laying on the ground and one when I picked it up. Next camera was on a strap rather than a screw in mount. The day after I put it up a cow elk walked up to it and licked it and nosed it a quarter of the way around the tree so it was not pointed at the trail, a couple days later it came back and shoved it the rest of the way around so it was pointed at a wall of brush five feet away. So in three weeks I had pictures of a couple elk, a few deer and a camp robber that landed about a foot in front of it.
