At the Pennsylvania Trappers convention.This is how I bend the triggers on them for Fisher and marten.

Wow you'd think a martin could slip right under that trigger , I don't have any experience in martin trapping but just figured they'd be like mink and have high trigger avoidance. I learn something new on this site all the time

The piece of beaver was wired to the tree just past the conibear so when the Fisher or marten grab the bait they lift their head and bang.By having the triggers like that the bigger male Fisher can get their head into the smaller coninears......and by the way they are MARTEN.......martin are little purple birds...... grin

I don't really care for the 160 springs on the dukes but will take them over the small spring eyes on the Bridger 155's which have the regular sized springs.

lot of deals on facebook now on traps saw some wickencamp coon live traps for 10 dollars

I prefer a pan vs wire triggers for both Marten & Fisher. I do like those Duke traps though. 155 is an awesome Marten trap that doubles as a Fisher traps for all but the largest makes.
