We were married in a church 47 years ago. Was not our first choice of churches but the other 2 would not allow my future father-in-law in with the shotgun.

All depends on what time of year the date is. If you’re any type of hunter/trapper you can kiss the good months off the list. All that leaves is the hot months so church or home would be the best option. Nothing worse than sweating in a Tux!!

After a year, it will not matter at all.

I paddled my daughter down the Clear Water river in Alaska to the wedding spot. There was even a moose standing across the river during the ceremony. The best man paddled the groom down the clear water to the spot.
All the other guests came In jet boats.

The average, current wedding cost in the US is $33,000.00. I think it's stupid to spend that much money on basically an over priced party.

The average engagement ring is currently $5500.00 in the US. I think it's stupid to pay that much for a basically useless item too.
