That is one reason I chewed Copenhagen Long Cut Straight, the plastic can. I ruin lots with butt sweat and even more in the washing machine. The plastic cans typically survive a wash with just a hint of Tide.

Military PXs used to have regular Copenhagen in plastic cans. I always thought it was the same stuff shipped overseas.

This is why God made snap shirts with pockets. Tin side goes towards your chest to block the moisture, cardboard side always goes out to dry quicker…. U better stick to professional lone starring and leave the Copenhagen to the pros ol son

Had a friend bring a bunch back from Hawaii just after high school, it was in plastic cans like the stuff off base.

I used to take the lid off my empty can and put it on the bottom of the new can just for this reason, or for a few years I would buy a can of something else, probably Kodiak, and chew it, then dump my Copenhagen cans in it, until I would finally break the plastic can. One plastic can usually lasted through a couple rolls of Copenhagen.

Haven't had that problem for a long time, but I still miss my Copenhagen every time I smell someone open a can.
