A lot of people like Sleepy Creeks (not sure if they're still being made) but I don't due to the chain being attached to the baseplate which makes them awkward for me to set in water. Of the #11s no longer being made, Montgomeries and Northwoods are top-notch as well. Proudly banned from the NTA. Out on the road that lies before me now There are some turns where I will spin

160user trapper Joined: Jan 2007 MN	I have some SC #11's Double Jaws. They also make a great Grey Fox trap. I have nothing clever to put here.

Agree, the baseplates center chain can make it awkward to set over your knee; but, that's one reason they put reinforced, padded knees on waders. lol Megapredator ... top of the food chain!
