I have wonted to get some number 11 long springs for trapping mink and otter what brand should I buy I was wonting to get bridgers.

Of the currently produced #11s I like Bridgers best. A lot of people like Sleepy Creeks (not sure if they're still being made) but I don't due to the chain being attached to the baseplate which makes them awkward for me to set in water.

Of the #11s no longer being made, Montgomeries and Northwoods are top-notch as well.

I have some SC #11's Double Jaws. They also make a great Grey Fox trap.

I have some SC #11 double jaws. Nice traps but not longer made. Agree, the baseplates center chain can make it awkward to set over your knee; but, that's one reason they put reinforced, padded knees on waders. lol
