Lazarus says it best, my cousin is a very good k9 trapper and he knows a guy who runs k9 traps from sun up to sun down for cash but I’m sure he is very busy to go on trapperman

Here's my 2 cents kid, most of the top coyote guys learned the majority of their knowledge from the coyotes. Sure there was probably guys that helped them along the way but most of it comes from doing and learning. I know you are fired up with enthusiasm right now and there's nothing wrong with that. In fact I hope you become the next Jim Bridger but enthusiasm doesn't always equate to follow through. Your not the only new trapper who has got on here all excited and full of questions and telling us how great they are going to be. In fact there's usually one or two every year. And a good portion of the ones that do the most talking aren't on here anymore in a year or two. Alot of the questions you ask you can find most of the answers yourself with a little work and willingness to do the work is a very important trait of a top trapper. Talk is cheap, you show other trappers you are willing to do the work down the road the next year or two they will be willing to help u more. Asking a bunch of questions that you can find the answers to yourself isn't going to help your cause with top trappers that value a getter done attitude.
Where was your enthusiasm when there was snow on the ground last winter to see where your local coyotes like to travel? Where's you enthusiasm after a rain and the ground is soft to go look for tracks and other sign?

if you want to learn trapping your going to have to walk the soles off a few pairs of boots. you miss to much on a atv or mini bike. once you get a feel for it, can look at an area and know where to go, then a motor is an advantage. there aint no shortcuts

I tried Savell....... every time I type my apologies they seem to come out all wrong and I ended up erasing them. Say…. I’m sorry boy and Savell is the best coyote trapper in here… but don’t pm him as he already has enough problems
