Huh….

I have to ask what it with the gal and the group hug. Seems like a targeted individual in that situation would have been quickly moved towards safety. Not showing a fight gesture.
Kinda seems like professional wrasling theatrics…..

Just working off the one angle I've seen DJT was looking to his right and down when he reacted grabbing the right side of his head.

So shooter firing upward and stage left? Possibly clearing the people in the stands to the rear?

But like you I wonder. It looks like you can't help but it multiples in that crowd.
