I think the shot sounded suppressed because while whatching it live you were hearing it through his mic.

I watched the video closely, paying most attention to the crowd behind him. It looks like there was a woman in a blue shirt behind his left shoulder and when the shots rang out she seemed to collapse backward as if shot.
