So, just to get this confirmed in my head. The dead shooter is laying head away from the edge of building whereas he was laying prone shooting with his head towards the edge of the building?

If this correct, his head is now 180 degrees from where he first started shooting, so he either had gotten up to move or to engage security and then got hit OR he flopped around enough with the head wound to end up in that position.

Someone please explain the situation.

Look at the diagram on all news outlets of where the shooter was and Sniper that killed him. Clear line of sight in both cases. Remember shooter wasn't engaging the snipers he was still trying to kill Trump. Why people stage right got hit.
He wasn't hanging off side of building before he shot nor after he was killed. Several photos on this thread show him ,Guy that saw him said he heard" pop pop from the 223 then it sounded like a 50 cal went to singing" Shame the "look outs" where not as good as the snipers or the guy would have died when he climbed up on the building......
